HRSA Awards $1.1 Million to Improve Services for Traumatic Brain Injury
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) today announced grants worth $1.1 million to improve services for individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Traumatic Brain Injury Post-Demonstration Project awards to agencies in 11 states will help improve access to coordinated and culturally competent care and services for individuals with TBI and their families.
Congress established the TBI program in 1996 and reauthorized it as part of the Children’s Health Act of 2000.
