Children's Library and Young Adult Resources C.A.R.L. Children's Room

red ball The Children's Library is located on the second floor of the Combined Arms Research Library. The collection includes picture books for pre-schoolers and fiction and non-fiction for elementary and middle-school students.  The young adult titles are shelved just outside the Children's Room.  The library also has a selection of children's videos that are located in the audio-visual room on the first floor.

red ball Story Time is held at 10:00am on Thursday mornings during the school year in the Children's Library.  Volunteers are needed to read and do crafts with the children.  For more information please contact the circulation staff at 758-3001/ 3002/3003.

red ball Reading Lists for Children and their Grown-ups 

Check out these fun lists of books on many children's topics, such as dogs, trains, and new baby, all found in the children's section of our library.

red ball Homework Resources:

SIRS:  A database containing articles on a wide range of topics of interest to young people.  A great resource for elementary, middle and high school student papers.  **Only available to Fort Leavenworth Users**
