Partnerships in Preparedness -- Exemplary Practices in
Emergency Management
In keeping with its goals for building a strong and effective emergency
management system, FEMA continues to search for and compile creative ways
and means to better utilize the resources that are available at the Federal,
State, and local levels of government, as well as in the private and volunteer
sectors.
With "Partnerships in Preparedness" as its theme, FEMA's Exemplary Practices
in Emergency Management series provides an avenue for forging cooperation
and leveraging emergency management talent and resources throughout the
public and private sectors, and pays tribute to those who have developed
such practices.
