  • In the United States, contact the National Cancer Institute's Cancer Information Service (CIS) at 1–800–4–CANCER (1–800–422–6237) Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. local time to speak with a Cancer Information specialist. Deaf and hard of hearing callers with TTY equipment may call 1–800–332–8615.

  • From outside the United States, contact the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) or an International Cancer Information Service in your country. A list of international resources is also available.

For accurate, up-to-date information on many types of cancer, information on clinical trials, resources for people dealing with cancer, and information for researchers and health professionals, go to the NCI’s http://www.cancer.gov Web site.
