The Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) is a center within the Earth Institute at Columbia University. CIESIN works at the intersection of the social, natural, and information sciences, and specializes in on-line data and information management, spatial data integration and training, and interdisciplinary research related to human interactions in the environment.

CGSD and CIESIN Data Sets

This new resource provides a sortable table of data sets produced by CIESIN and the Center for Globalization and Sustainable Development (CGSD) of the Earth Institute at Columbia University. These include data sets produced by Jeffrey Sachs, Director of the Earth Institute, and Will Masters, Director of the CGSD. A description of each data set and links to download the data can be obtained by clicking on the data set titles.
