Description:
The Postsecondary Education Programs Network (PEPNet) promotes opportunities for the four Regional Postsecondary Education Centers for Individuals Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing to collaborate on activities and programs nationally. The centers, supported by the U.S. Department of Education, assist postsecondary educational institutions that provide access and accommodations to individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing. The regional centers are located in St. Paul, Minnesota (MCPO); Rochester, New York (NETAC); Knoxville, Tennessee (PEC); and Northridge, California (WROCC). The PEPNet Resource Center, located at California State University, Northridge, houses and loans information, training materials, and videotapes developed by the four regional centers. Professional brochures/pamphlets, professional online publications, audiovisuals, and online training are available. Some materials are available in American Sign Language.
