Post-Krimmel-Mayo Photograph Collection

Numerous photographs of Gulkana Glacier are included in this collection of more than 50,000 aerial photos of glaciers in western North America. The photographs were taken by Austin Post, Bob Krimmel, and Larry Mayo since the late 1950's. Photos are black and white on 9"x9" or 7"x7" negatives. Formerly held by this office, they are now available from the Geodata Center, Geophysical Institute, University of Alaska Fairbanks (telephone: 907-474-7487). Some photos from the collection are also available in the Glacier Photo Collection at the National Snow and Ice Data Center Archives).
