Welcome to the marine protected areas (MPA) library.
You can search our resources by typing in a search word, choosing
a keyword search.
Search Hints Case:
The search engine is not case sensitive. "marine protected
area" and "Marine Protected Area" are equivalent.
Use Multiple Words. Using "protected"
and "area" (syntax: protected area) will find pages
where these two words occur. The words DO NOT have to appear
together. The space between the two words is an implied AND
operator.
Use Phrases. To find pages that contain a
specific phrase, place the phrase in quotations, as in "Marine
Protected Area". Multiple words enclosed by quotation
marks are treated as a single search phrase
Use AND. To find two or more words/phrases
that appear on the same page use the operator AND.
Example:
* "marine protected area" AND coral
reefs
