A-109 Aviation Radio Use provides a basic understanding of the operation of aircraft radios including:
  • Communication skills and radio discipline
  • Basic flight following requirements
  • Use of VHF-AM and VHF-FM frequencies and radio tones
  • Communication systems within an aircraft
