Grantees are required to place an acknowledgement of NIH grant support and a disclaimer, as appropriate, on any publication written or published with such support and, if feasible, on any publication reporting the results of, or describing, a grant-supported activity. An acknowledgment shall be to the effect that:
"This publication was made possible by Grant Number ___ from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) or "the project described was supported by Grant Number ___ from the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine" and "Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, National Institutes of Health."
Grant recipients presenting NCCAM-sponsored research at scientific, professional, and consumer meetings are asked to acknowledge the publicly funded support they receive. Grantees may use the NCCAM Grantee Acknowledgement slide in PowerPoint provided here.
