There were many opportunities for learning, networking, and sharing throughout the four-day meeting. An exciting program focused on four themes: Partnering for Health Improvements, Eliminating Health Disparities, Increasing Quality and Years of Healthy Life, and Harnessing Technology for Health. Key presentations from leaders in the public health, health care, and information technology fields, and more than 100 Breakout, Poster, and Caucus sessions explored how to approach and achieve the goals and objectives of Healthy People 2010. In addition, a number of exciting activities, including our fitness program, "Healthy People in Motion," were planned for attendees enjoyment and leisure. A highlight of the conference was the Exhibits and Technology Games area, where 128 exhibitors and 47 of the leading developers and vendors of interactive health applications featured the latest innovations in health and technology.
