- Your Expedition--After more than 1,300 miles and 64 days of skiing and ski-sailing, Ann Bancroft
and Liv Arnesen arrived safely at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station on
January 16. They stopped briefly for supplies and a warm meal before setting out
on the final 900 miles to McMurdo Station and the completion of the first
