508 and You - Requiring Official

The Requiring Official is the Program Manager or other government staff delegated with responsibility for developing electronic and information technology requirements. GSA provides online training to assist requiring officials in meeting the requirements of Section 508. In addition, requiring officials may want to contact their Section 508 Coordinator for current status of implementation within their agency and to learn about the policies and procedures in place within their agency related to Section 508 compliance.
