The Federal Disposal System (FEDS) is GSA's computer system for recording, tracking and controlling the nationwide inventory of excess and surplus property of the federal government. The Agency Asset Management System (AAMS) is a module contained within FEDS, that can be accessed via the new customer interface GSAXcess®. AAMS provides automated data systems support for the Department of Commerce's (DOC) nationwide personal property needs. The primary goal of AAMS is to simply improve internal screening. The user guide provides information on gaining access to the system, as well as searching, reporting, selecting and transferring property.
