Expansion and renovation of the Andrade Border Station is needed to respond to the substantial increase in the flow of both vehicles and pedestrians.

The existing Point of Entry facility is not equipped to process the number of vehicles and pedestrians anticipated, at a level of service consistent with the Federal Inspection Service minimum standards for processing time and overall operational efficiency.
