The Internal Transportation Security Working Groups mission is to create a collaborative environment for agencies to develop a governmentwide transportation security strategy that includes but is not limited to the development of training, outreach and creation of an alert system.  To promote standardization in internal transportation security policies and to consider recommending development of transportation security plans for each transportation function.

Outcomes: A better-informed and safer federal transportation worker through standardization and increased coordination and awareness of the changing transportation security requirements.  

Output: Development of a governmentwide transportation security planning guide. The guide will be a resource to assist agencies in the promotion of transportation security within their own organization.
