GSA's National Capital Region (NCR) Public Building Service (PBS) is responsible for satisfying the workspace needs of the federal community within the greater Washington DC metropolitan area. GSA’s commitment extends to local communities as well, through revitalization initiatives, collaboration with neighborhood, volunteer, and cultural groups, and by making our federal buildings and tenants integral parts of the community in which they are located.

Helping Customers
Multi-disciplinary PBS Service Centers are responsible for making the connection between GSA's core real estate business offerings and GSA's larger enterprise offerings, to tailor solutions that meet each federal agencies unique requirements. Using their extensive real estate knowledge and expertise, GSA's service team professionals work in partnership with customer agencies and industry providers, to understand customer needs and translate their specific requirements into workspace solutions.

In partnership with world-class industry providers, GSA connects the federal community with all of the products and services they need to effectively conduct their missions. Through NCR, agencies have access to a wide variety of services, and solutions - - for planning, designing, and obtaining workspace; managing, maintaining and modernizing agency facilities; and for disposing of workspace when it no longer meets agency needs.

GSA also offers a number of specialized offerings in NCR including childcare, relocation and moving services, physical and building security, furniture, office supplies, IT equipment and support, telecommunications services, and a whole lot more.
