What is DISA's TIP?
The Technology Insertion
Panel (TIP) supports the Chief Information Assurance Executive
(CIAE) on matters concerning the application of vendor
products or services to the DISA Information Assurance (IA) mission.
It is currently composed of 11 panel members including program management,
technical, operational, and CIAE representatives along with the TIP Secretariat
and Chair. We will consider asking you to make a presentation to the panel
but require additional information to adequately evaluate your product/service.
To help prepare the TIP, please provide the information requested in the
TIP Candidate Profile. Please be specific and explain how your
product will benefit the Information Assurance program and/or the DISA
customer. This information will be used to determine if we will
request a presentation/demonstration from you and if so, which of our
functional experts would attend. Presentations are usually limited to
one-half hour. After your presentation, the panel normally provides
the CIAE a recommendation whether to pursue acquiring the product or service.
The TIP usually meets every two weeks on Thursday mornings in the DISA
building at 5275 Leesburg Pike (Sky 7), Falls Church, VA. |
