The work scope and responsibilities of the Oakland Operations Office (OAK) are divided along three business lines: NNSA programs, DOE programs, and Corporate Operations.
OAK's NNSA business comprises Defense Programs and Nonproliferation and National Security responsibilities. The DOE Programs business line includes the support to Science, Environmental, and other energy-related programs and activities. The third business line consists of fulfilling corporate business management requirements and responsibilities.
