The Office of Economic Impact and Diversity (ED) is mandated by various legislation and Executive Orders to advise the Secretary of Energy on the impacts of energy policies, programs, regulations, and other Departmental actions on under-represented communities, minority educational institutions, and small and women-owned business enterprises.
ED's Program Support dollars are used for the functions of the Minority Economic Impact (MI) Programs.
