Under Secretary for Global Affairs

The Office of the Under Secretary for Global Affairs, headed by Under Secretary Paula J. Dobriansky, coordinates U.S. foreign relations on a variety of global issues, including democracy, human rights, and labor; environment, oceans, and science; narcotics control and law enforcement; population, refugees, and migration; women's issues; and trafficking in persons.

  
Highlights

The 2004 International Religious Freedom report was released on September 15, 2004.  This annual report includes individual country chapters on the status of religious freedom worldwide.
