Statistical Research Tools

  • What tool should I use? - This section describes several tools available for finding or calculating cancer statistics. Several interactive Web sites are available for accessing statistical tables, graphs, and maps by age, sex, cancer site, and geographic area. In addition, the Surveillance Research Program has developed software packages that allow you to generate statistics based on SEER databases or data collected at your research institution.
  • Methods & Software for Population-Based Cancer Statistics - The Statistical Research and Applications Branch (SRAB) has developed new statistical methods and associated software tools for the analysis and reporting of cancer statistics.
