Instructions for Comment Submission

New Users

• New users are required to register to submit a comment. 
   
• On the registration page, enter the submitter's name, contact information, and affiliation.
   
• Once the information has been entered correctly, a user ID will be assigned to you.
   
• Write down the assigned user ID and the email address you entered.  Both are required for future access.
   
• Enter comments by selecting the "Enter Comments" box and select the section of the Report on which you would like to comment (e.g. fats).  Further instructions will ask you to narrow your comments to a specific sub-topic (e.g. monounsaturated fats).  Comments or summary statements can then be submitted.
   
• Select "Return to Comments" to comment on additional sections or sub-topics.
   
• Select "2005 Guidelines Page" or "View Advisory Committee report" to visit other Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee materials.
