Calls for public comment on revision of the food guidance system
Washington, DC – July 12, 2004
The U.S. Department of Agriculture today called for public comment via a Federal Register notice on the proposed Food Guidance System, currently known as the Food Guide Pyramid.  In addition, USDA announced a public stakeholder meeting, Aug. 19, where the public can express their views on same.
