may
receive a transit subsidy if you commute to work
by van
pool, use public transportation, or use other
forms of
qualifying transportation;
may work fixed, compressed, or flexible work
schedules under an Alternative Work Schedule system, and
may have flexible starting times;
may request to
work at home or at another suitable site under a pilot
flexiplace program (two-year pilot to begin during the summer
2000) if your position is suited to such
arrangement;
may be eligible for travel gainshare award (one year
pilot beginning July 2001);
may request
to work part-time (a schedule of fewer than
80 hours per
two-week pay period);
may request to
job-share with another individual if you are hired for a
position determined by your supervisor to be suitable for job
sharing;
are eligible
to earn cash awards for adopted suggestions;
are eligible
for monetary and non-monetary recognition for exemplary work
performance;
will
be
represented by the Union of Authority Employees (UAE), the
Agency's exclusive bargaining representative of eligible
employees, if you are in a position which is covered by the
bargaining unit;
may utilize an
Agency administrative grievance procedure which affords
grievants an avenue of assistance when they seek personal
relief in a matter relating to employment conditions, if you
are not included in the bargaining unit;
will reap the
benefits of working in an agency which strives for
collaborative and constructive solutions to labor-management
problems.
