Abstract

Prevent Child Abuse America (formerly the National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse) was established in 1972 by to build a nationwide commitment to preventing all forms of child abuse. The organization's programs consist of public awareness and education, national volunteer networks, technical and consultative services, primary prevention, and advocacy. Public awareness and education involve national media campaigns, publications, conferences, and workshops.

Publications

A variety of educational materials, including booklets, brochures, pamphlets, and bibliographies dealing with child abuse, neglect, and parenting. Some publications are available in Spanish.
