Abstract

One of eleven divisions of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Office of Women's Health seek to address issues that especially affect the health of women today. Some women's health issues addressed by this office include violence, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, breast and cervical cancer, and tobacco use and its associated health risks.
