North Central Research Station

North Central Library Services (INFO-NC)

is  part of the Forest Service Library Network (FSLN is accessible only through the Forest Service intranet), a network of Forest Service libraries. In addition to providing reference and document services, we also publish the Monthly Alert each month. The Alert keeps Forest Service personnel updated on recent scientific and management articles and publications.

Part of the Communication Services Group at the North Central Research Station, we are co-located with the University of Minnesota Forestry library on the St. Paul Campus.

The University of Minnesota Libraries have been designated as a Center of Excellence by the National Agricultural Library due to the strength of its Forestry Library. With access to this extensive library collection NC Library Services is able to fill most requests immediately.
