CESSI has developed a method and tool for
conducting an agency-wide survey to identify levels
of organizational awareness, knowledge, and
compliance with regard to Sectoin 508. This tool
is web-based, fully compliant, and allows for the
automatic population of a database to manipulate
results. CESSI analyzes results to identify areas
of organizational risk, build a system inventory
for baselining compliance, and identifying
recommendations for increasing compliance and
minimizing risk. First applied to the Department
of Veterans Affairs, CESSI also uses portions of
this methodology in meeting requirements at
Department of Housing and Urban Development and
other agencies.
