Report on Occupational Safety and Health Inspections

This report thirty-nine (39) pages with six (6) appendices is mandated by the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995.

The report was submitted to the Speaker of the House and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate on November 25, 2002.

The report summarizes the results of inspections over the two year period of the 107th Congress pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act and OSHA regulations.

Subjects covered include: emergency preparedness, safety of irradiated mail, fire and life safety, improving injury record of the Architect of the Capitol, biennial summary of Requests for Inspection and related subjects.
