Conference NewsletterTHE CONFERENCE NEWSLETTER is a compilation of conference listings chosen to reflect the projects and mission of the Volpe Center. The Library selects and categorizes these listings into broad subject groupings: Aviation, Defense, Engineering, Environment, GIS/Navigation, Information Technology, Management, Telecommunications, Transportation, and Miscellaneous. Each entry contains date, title, sponsor (if not evident from the title), location, e-mail address, website and source code. This source code refers to the journal issue where the conference is announced. The actual announcement identifies additional information such as contact person or mailing address. All entries with a source code are selected from the Meetings/Calendar feature of the journal. If a conference brochure is used as a source, a phone number is substituted for the journal source code. Supplementary information can be found on the Library bulletin board located in the corridor directly outside the Library entrance. Contact the Library for any additional information regarding these listings. |
