September 2002:  The Healthy People 2010 Information Access Project is a pilot project to make information and evidence-based strategies related to the Healthy People 2010 objectives easier to find.  The National Library of Medicine and the Public Health Foundation staff have worked together to develop pre-formulated search strategies for selected Healthy People 2010 focus areas. In addition, all focus area chapters have had direct PubMed search links created for references.


Note: Each document is provided in multiple formats to support viewing in a variety of software applications: HTML (for Web browsers), Microsoft® Word, Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF), and Rich Text Format (RTF, for word processors other than Word). Many of the files are large and may take extra time to load. HTML files were tested using six Web browsers (see details of testing). Some HTML files may not display or print correctly in older Web browsers that do not support the HTML 4.0 specification. Please download the latest version of Netscape's Browser or Microsoft® Internet Explorer if you experience any problems. You also may download the latest Adobe® Acrobat® ReaderTM.
