For general questions about the VA, specific Compensation and Pension benefits questions, compliments, complaints, changes of address and other local regional office issues, the following contact list is by state and geographical area of jurisdiction.   (Click here to go to the Regional Office Page for answers to questions)    But, before starting, please read ALL information below to include the "NOTICE."

NOTICE:  Although the new Internet messaging system VA employs is relatively secure, responses that require a release of personal information will be mailed via U.S. Postal Service to your last address of record.   If you have concerns about using this service, you should call our toll free number (1-800-827-1000) to speak with a Veteran Services Representative concerning your question or claim.

Where VA has a Regional Office in other than one of the United States, that facility is also listed.   Persons living in foreign countries with claim specific questions may also use this e-mail facility.   Generally, all foreign contacts should be directed to the Pittsburgh, PA Regional Office or the Foreign Service Program.   The exceptions are Mexico (see Houston, Texas), Canada (see Vermont), the Philippines (listed as such), and, certain Pacific island entities (see Hawaii).
