Treasury Secretary John Snow to Keynote Ohio Credit Union ForumAlexandria, Va., August 31, 2004 – National Credit Union Administration Board Chairman JoAnn Johnson is pleased to announce that Treasury Secretary John Snow will keynote the Chairman’s Forum for Credit Unions in Lima, Ohio, Friday, September 10. “I’m pleased that Treasury Secretary Snow will be joining House Financial Services Committee Chairman Michael G. Oxley and me to discuss several important initiatives that impact Ohio credit unions and their thousands of members,” Chairman Johnson said. “In addition to gaining invaluable information pertaining to financial education initiatives, identity theft and health savings accounts, this forum affords participants the opportunity to gain insight directly from two of our country’s top policy makers.” Speakers from NCUA and the Ohio credit union community will begin the day with Chairmen Johnson and Oxley in Mansfield, Ohio, presenting the first program at 8 a.m. The program will repeat, with the addition of Secretary Snow, beginning at 12:45 p.m. in Lima, Ohio.
