The IG Academy offers several courses throughout the year covering a broad range of topics. Please browse this area to learn more about each course and find out when each is being offered. While the Academy strives to make sure that the course dates listed below are accurate, there are sometimes changes in course dates or locations. Please check with your agency training officer or contact the Academy at (912) 261-3759 to confirm class dates and locations.

News

The Inspector General Criminal Investigator Academy (IG Academy) is very excited to offer a total of 43 courses this fiscal year. Vendor-provided courses will only be offered in Arlington, Virginia, while other courses will be offered in Glynco, Georgia and Arlington, Virginia. Please review our exciting new line-up for this year and click on the links below to learn more about the specific course of instruction and its location.

Vendor-provided courses are not included in your annual assessment fee and will vary in cost depending upon your selection. Agencies are responsible for their students' tuition, lodging, meals, and incidentals. Please refer to the specific course of interest for additional information pertaining to cost.

Registration Deadlines

Course administrators need time to prepare course materials and make lodging accommodations. If you plan on attending any of the following classes, you must register no later than the dates indicated below:
