Introduction
Along with the DoD Site-Wide License to use the antivirus products provided by the vendors, the Defense Information
Systems Agency (DISA) also purchased technical support plans from each vendor. Due to the enormous multitude of users within
DoD, a stipulation exists where a limited number of personnel are permitted to contact the vendors directly via accounts
provided by each vendor.

Who should I contact?
First and foremost, do not attempt to contact the vendor directly. In most instances, the vendor will direct
you to the DoD-CERT. The technical support accounts are divided among members of the DoD-CERT and the Service CERTs.
The Service CERTs represent each branch of military service.
DoD users seeking technical support should follow the chain of support stipulated by their perspective commands before
contacting any of the CERTs. The first layer of support should be the system administrator. The system administrator
should be knowledgeable of any additional support entities that should be informed prior to contacting one of the CERTs.
The CERT affiliated with your branch of military service should be selected when seeking technical assistance. If your DoD
agency or command is not directly affiliated with or supported by a particular military branch, the DoD-CERT should be contacted
for support.
