This portion of the USCIS Website contains information about the USCIS Historical Reference Library collection and services, documents concerning the history of the Service as well as of immigration law, procedure, and immigration stations, and instructions for historical and genealogical research using USCIS and legacy INS records.  It will also be the future home of information and resources designed for the use of primary and secondary school teachers.
