Implementation Team

The Southeast Regional Implementation Team strategy fosters cooperation between federal partnership agencies and state, local, and non-governmental organizations with an emphasis on two issues: protecting and restoring areas threatened or affected by development in coastal areas; and restoration of anadromous fisheries habitat. The SERIT has been involved in numerous habitat protection and restoration projects of all types along the South Atlantic coastline.
