The USEPA?s LIS Office has initiated a project to inventory and restore degraded coastal resources in LIS. Low altitude, oblique angle video photography is being conducted for the entire coastline. USEPA Region II has provided a helicopter for the effort and USFWS, NYDEC and CTDEP are providing staff and equipment. Currently, the NERIT is reviewing sites for implementation.
