Summary Description: Determination of levels of fish production needed to mitigate for losses associated with construction of Hungry Horse Dam.
Background: The Hungry Horse Reservoir flooded over 35 miles of the South Fork Flathead River and the lower reaches of about 50 tributary streams.
Milestones: During FY 1985, this study determined levels of production needed to mitigate and supplement resident fish populations diminished by habitat losses associated with construction of Hungry Horse Dam.
Results: Resident fish mitigation levels required.
