Location: COLUMBIA RIVER BASIN basin, including sites listed below.
COLUMBIA RIVER BASIN, PORTLAND, RICHLAND.

Summary Description: Develop research plans for white sturgeon in the Columbia River Basin with agencies, tribes and stugeon experts from the western US and Canada..

Background: White sturgeon populations in the Columbia River Basin had been severely impacts by the building of dams and other human activities.

Milestones: A research plan for white sturgeon was developed for the Columbia River Basin. Participants represented management, agencies, tribes and sturgeon experts from University of Washington, Idaho, British Columbia and California.
