Fletcher Knebel who had frequent contact with the FBI, was a Washington Correspondent, first with the "Cleveland Plain Dealer" and later with Cowles Publications working at "Look" magazine. Knebel was a well known author of such books as "Seven Days in May" and "Trespass."
