CMS Regional Offices

Information for Professionals

CMS has Regional Offices in ten major cities throughout the U.S., in addition to our Central Office in Baltimore. CMS Regional Offices are often the first point-of-contact for beneficiaries, health care providers, state and local governments, and the general public.

About 35 percent of our employees work in a Regional Office, performing essential day-to-day functions for Medicare, Medicaid, and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), including:

  • Customer Service
  • Program Operations, Management and Evaluation
  • Communication, Education and Outreach
  • Partnership with State and Local Health and Social Service Programs

Go to your local Regional Office web page by clicking on a Regional Office link, or on your state in the map or state list below:

I. Boston II. New York III. Philadelphia IV. Atlanta V. Chicago
VI. Dallas VII. Kansas City VIII. Denver IX. San Francisco X. Seattle

Select a state from the map or from the alphabetical listing and we will direct you to the correct regional page.
