The National Endowment for the Arts 2002 State Partnership
Agreements support:
- a Basic State Component, which provides funds that
agencies can use to address priorities identified in each state's
basic state plan.
- an Arts Education Component, which supports those elements
of a state's plan that address arts education.
- an Arts in Underserved Communities Component, which
supports those elements of a state's plan that foster the arts in
rural, inner-city and other underserved communities.
- a Challenge America Component, which provides funds to
state arts agencies for new or expanded program activities that
demonstrate the power of the arts to benefit families and
communities.
