Section II:
Completed Definitional Missions and Desk Studies
The
following USTDA-funded Definitional Mission and Desk Study reports recently
have been received by USTDA.
These reports contain
information on the nature of the project; its priority to the host
government; its likely total cost; the likelihood of project financing;
the need for a feasibility study; the scope of work for the study; U.S.
export potential; and the U.S. companies that could compete in
procurement of goods and services for the project.
Many of the projects
described in the final reports will be approved for a USTDA-funded
feasibility study. U.S. engineering and construction firms can use this
information as a "heads up" on future feasibility study bidding
opportunities, which will be announced in the Federal Business
Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at www.eps.gov.
Suppliers and
manufacturers can use these reports for basic market information and to
discover potential projects with sales opportunities for their specific
products.
These reports are
available free of charge from the USTDA library by calling (703)
875-4357. Note: items marked with a check (Ö) are new listings for this
section.
