Sun-Earth

This year Sun-Earth Day at Stennis Space Center celebrates a phenomenon that hasn't occurred since 1882 -- the Venus transit -- the silhouette of Venus crossing the face of the Sun. This event will be seen from Earth on June 8, 2004. To learn more visit http://sunearth.gsfc.nasa.gov.
