This is a hands-on training course using the
NLM's online Toxicology and Environmental Health Information Program files
to target Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority
Educational Institutions (HBCUs/MEIs) and
community-based organizations (CBOs) in the Lower Mississippi Delta Region.

This hands-on training course is designed to help participants
understand criteria for reliable Web sites, become familiar with NLM Web
sites, use NLM's MedlinePlus to find HIV/AIDS information, and
identify other HIV/AIDS resources.
- TOXNET on the Web
This NLM training program is designed to show environmental health professionals, faculty,
librarians, CBO representatives, concerned citizens, and other stakeholders how to gather
up-to-date information on hazardous substances in the environment and their potential
health effects.
