Our mission is to provide effective acquisition and contracting services, prudently managing risk issues and compliance requirements while procuring equipment, services, and realty requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner. Our vision is to deliver on a timely basis the best value, product, or service to our customers while maintaining trust and fulfilling policy objectives.

ORISE was established by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) to undertake national and international programs in education, training, health, and the environment. ORISE and its programs are operated by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) through a contract with DOE.

Procurement activities to support ORISE offices located in other states are performed in our Oak Ridge facility.
