	PIH-REAC Reverse Auctions for Physical Inspections The Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) within HUD's Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) has begun a paperless "Reverse Auction" program to purchase Uniform Physical Condition Standards Inspection Services (UPCS).
	Public Housing Authority (PHA) Contracting Opportunities HUD provides significant amounts of funding to Public and Indian Housing Agencies for construction work (both new and renovation) and for management improvement activities. Much of this work is performed by private contractors.
