Changes in Registration
Information
DTIC® must be notified in writing of any changes to the current DD Form 1540, such as changes of organization name, address, telephone numbers, email address, individual's name, etc.

Users with classified access must notify their Defense Security Service (DSS) office of changes to their company name, address, or telephone number.

Users with access to export-controlled data whose com-pany name, individual name, or address changes must revise the DD Form 2345 with the Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS). After you receive the revised DD Form 2345 from DLIS, you must notify DTIC. The changes in your registration will not become effective until DTIC is notified.

Continuation of
Service
You will receive a notice from DTIC approximately 60 days prior to their scheduled registration expiration date. The approving official must notify DTIC by mail, fax, or email of any extension to the contract expiration date. Otherwise, the eligibility under that contract expires expires on the date indicated in item #8 on the DD Form 1540.

DTIC now accepts a contract modification to extend the expiration date of a registered contract. A cover sheet stating the DTIC user code must accompany the contract modification.
